The Wanderer

The Wanderer, preserved in the Exeter Book, is one of the classics of Old English literature. For recent editions of it, see the Guide to Old English, The Exeter Anthology of Old English Poetry, ed. B. Muir (Exeter, 1994), and The Wanderer, ed. T.P. Dunning and A.J. Bliss (1969). The Wanderer presents a number of interesting editorial problems: investigate these problems by comparing the present text with those in the printed editions.
